All employees globally receive 25 x days of holiday leave per calendar year, plus public holidays.

✏️ Applying for Leave

We find it is helpful to use the below to ensure there aren't any issues with team coverage, especially for roles with a direct impact on customers or in busy parts of the year around holidays:

📅 Mid Year Joiners

Joiners after 1st January, you'll receive a pro-rata leave amount according to the numbers of days remaining in the year. This will be rounded up to the nearest half a day.

For example, if you join on 1st April, you'll receive 25 days * (275/365) = 18.83, which will be rounded up to 19 days of holiday leave. This will reset to 25 days on 1st January the following year.

🎒 Carry Over Leave

Given the nature of our business and growth, we know there are some reasons where it's difficult for employees to take all holiday leave in a year and therefore we will automatically carry over a maximum of 5 days of accrued, untaken holiday leave between calendar years.

If there are instances where you are planning a bigger trip and want to carry over a higher balance, or business demands have resulted in you being unable to take at least 20 days of leave in a year, we'll consider a higher carry over amount on a temporary basis to support some time out early in the new calendar year.
